The Locket; or, When She Was Twenty

(Vitagraph Company of America, 1913)

While taking the trolly home, Mrs. Jenkins shows her friend a locket that holds a picture of her when she was twenty. She moves to put the locket in her pocket, but inadvertently slides it into the pocket of the man sitting next to her: Judge Jones. Jones's wife, finding the locket, immediately storms out and threatens divorce. Meanwhile, Mrs. Jenkins, discovering her locket missing, assumes the man on the trolly must have stolen it and sets the police on his trail.
