Tired of being sought only for his money, John Mason goes on a fishing trip in the country. While dozing on the shore, an escaped convict knocks him out and steals his clothes. He seeks aid at the nearest cabin, which happens to belong to the convict’s sister. She falls in love with the man who she assumes is nothing more than an unfortunate, poor fisherman.
